LOCATION
Killarney is a small town that has been welcoming visitors since the days of Queen Victoria in the 1830s, meaning it is a lively and exciting town that has much to offer tourists in terms of shopping, hiking and entertainment. In addition to this, it is home to a 22,000-acre National Park with lakes, rivers and mountains therefore allows for many outdoor activities.
Killarney is known as "The Reflection of Paradise," has many historical sites from pre-Christian times to Norman-era castles (12th century and 18th century manors).
Killarny School of English overlooks Killarney National Park in the green heart of the Irish countryside.
The children will experience the welcome and warmth of local families while immersing themselves through sports and cultural activities in the nature that surrounds them.
In addition to the usual programming, the school pays special attention to educational training for younger students by providing an especially protected environment.
Activities range from farm visits to horseback riding, rock climbing, tree climbing, trekking, surfing, carriage rides, and many other nature excursions.

PROGRAM
- General English classes Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm (with a break between 11:30 am and 11:45 am). 6-level classes from beginner to advanced. Maximum class size is 12 students.
- Afternoon activities from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (includes a half-day excursion) and a full-day trip on Saturday. All entrance fees are included; evening activities can also be arranged.
- Host family accommodation with continental breakfast, packed lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Students will be housed in pairs or trios. Unfortunately, it is not possible to provide HOT lunches. In line with Department of Education guidelines, host families are carefully selected.
- All transportation to and from student housing, school, and activities, is included. There will be a teacher on the bus on the first day to ensure that everyone joins and gets off at the right place
- All materials, documentation and handouts are included
- An online placement test prior to arrival, certificate and teacher's report upon completion
