SCHOOL-BASED WORKSHOPS
Sessions based on work contexts focusing on CVs and applications, role play activities, comparisons with employers designed to articulate basic employment skills.
Sessions will include an engaging and experienced staff member who is passionate about promoting job skills development for youth.
IN-HOUSE WORKSHOPS (EXAMPLE)
York Cocoa Works is an active and educational chocolate factory in the heart of York.
The activity includes:
- Explore the rich history of chocolate production in York and the factory itself.
- Tour: observation of chocolate production.
- Learn about the business, the different job roles in the organization, and the important job skills the company seeks in its staff.
- Students will learn through the laboratory process the application of production and management techniques.
