Kalaonda Plemmirio is a complex of renovated 19th century buildings, located just 500 metres from the sea and 9 km from Syracuse, with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities and a wonderful private pool. Created from the ancient and simple lodgings of the farmers employed in the surrounding countryside, the Kalaonda Plemmirio is now a modern and elegant 4-star hotel.

The touring holiday programme is a 2 week General English course designed specifically for children to give them a unique experience!
We will travel through the wonders of Sicily, and through a number of specially designed excursions, we will offer students the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the English language, encouraging them to speak and interact with our native speaking staff. The teaching activities will be interactive, we will be "schooling" outdoors so that learning becomes very effective for the development of the four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES
Students follow a recreational programme during the week that is always appropriate for each age group. All transport and supervision is included. By participating in organised activities, students have fun while learning, thus having an additional opportunity to practise their English and make friends with other students in a protected environment.
The following activities are planned, accompanied by mother-tongue nature guides:
- Full day excursion Pantalica trekking and adventure park forest of Buccheri
- Full day Etna trekking and river rafting in the Alcantara gorges
- Archaeological Park of Syracuse
- Technopark of Archimedes
- Noto, a baroque town, Unesco heritage site
- Marzamemi, the town of fishermen
- Ortigia to discover history and culture
- Isola delle Correnti and the meeting of the two seas in a marine protected reserve; Porto palo, Capo Passero
- 2 boat trips to the island of Ortigia, Grotta Azzurra and the magnificent Plemmirio
FLIGHTS
Flights can be purchased through our administration and fares are confirmed at the time of the actual booking and include airport transfers.
