LOCATION

Milltown is a quiet residential neighborhood with stores and cafes and a scenic river walk. It is well served by public transportation, with Luas bus and streetcar services with a stop in front of the school gates.
The college also offers students a quiet and enclosed study environment as well as the convenience of proximity to the city center.

Alexandra College

Alexandra College is a prestigious private school that opens its doors during the summer toEmerald Cultural Institute students for a truly unique international living and study experience. The campus is spread over twelve acres of manicured greenery, with modern and safe spaces designed to ensure that students have a comfortable, active and peaceful stay.

The atmosphere at Alexandra College is typical of Anglo-Saxon campuses: welcoming, orderly, dynamic. The location is ideal - just a few minutes' walk from stores, cafes and the Luas streetcar stop, which connects the school directly with the city center - making it easy and pleasant to get around.

Students can choose between two types of accommodation: homestay or residence. The entire residence hall is guarded by 24-hour security personnel.

Catering is carefully taken care of: there is a modern cafeteria on campus where lunch or hot meal vouchers can be purchased. Menus are varied and always balanced, with a wide selection of hot dishes, soups, salads, fruits and snacks, as well as vegetarian options or dedicated to special dietary needs.

Sports and recreation

he campus also offers top-notch sports facilities: all-weather courts for field hockey, tennis and basketball, areas for track and field, soccer, cricket and rugby, an indoor gymnasium and dedicated spaces for recreational and cultural activities. The campus common rooms and gardens are ideal places to relax and socialize, while the theater and multipurpose hall regularly host performances and sharing moments.

In addition to interesting cultural outings, Dublin's city center offers youngsters the chance to connect with the Irish musical tradition of street buskers (street musicians), not to mention the incredible opportunity for bike rides in Europe's largest urban park, Phoenix Park.

Summer Program

It is designed for 11- to 17-year-olds and combines English language study in a balanced way with a full schedule of sports, creative, and cultural activities, as well as day trips and weekend excursions. Classes are held in the mornings, while afternoons and evenings are devoted to recreational and social activities, led by a young and knowledgeable staff. The goal is to improve English in a natural way, living hands-on experiences and creating new international friendships.

Alexandra College is less than 20 kilometers from Dublin Airport, which can be reached in about half an hour by car. For all unaccompanied minors, it is mandatory to book a round-trip transfer service, which is guaranteed and managed directly by the school.
