Language Juction makes you study by taking you on holiday to one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. A wonderful adventure entirely in English, discovering sea turtles protected by the WWF, unspoilt seabeds and mother tongue teachers who help you learn to know, respect and protect the environment through outdoor activities.

LOCATION
Lampedusa, Italy's southernmost island, already smells of Africa!
An authentic paradise for sea lovers with its wonderful seabed and turquoise waters. It is known for having one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the one in front of the Isola dei Conigli, which is part of the Riserva Naturale Orientale.
Lampedusa is also home to the loggerhead sea turtles and the WWF centre - Casa dele Tartarughe - which is included in the trip's must-see visits. There are boat trips to the island of Linosa and dolphin watching excursions, which are numerous in these waters.
Residence la Roccia is located on the southern side of the island, with direct access to the sea. It is the only structure adjacent to the Isola dei Conigli Natural Park.
The place is in a green oasis, shaded by Ficus Australis and Acacia trees.
For many years now, the Village has observed all the ecological rules for the protection of the environment and natural resources, including recycling water for irrigation and saving energy by using solar panels.
Classes will be held in an open-air area within Residence La Roccia, specially equipped for Language Junction students.
ACCOMODATION
Located next to the white sandy beaches of Cala Greca, just 4 km from the centre of Lampedusa, Villaggio La Roccia offers a relaxation area with terrace and panoramic views, a large garden, a market and a restaurant.
Residence la Roccia offers fully furnished two-, three- and four-room apartments with terrace. All accommodations include an equipped kitchenette with dining area and a private bathroom with shower.
Free Wi-Fi is available.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES
Students follow a recreational programme during the week that is always appropriate for each age group. All transport and supervision is included. By participating in organised activities, students have fun while learning, thus having an additional opportunity to practise their English and make friends with other students in a protected environment.
The following activities are planned:
- Full day excursion on private boat for fishing trip
- Water baptism: scuba diving
- Full day excursion to Linosa Island with lunch on boat
- Visit WWF Centre-Turtle House
- Full day "Discovery Island" excursion with lunch on boat (2 days)
- Dolphin watching boat trip
- Bicycle hire for island tours
FLIGHTS
Flights can be purchased through our administration and fares are confirmed at the time of the actual booking and include airport transfers.
